Bibliotecas públicas e imagem organizacional: diferentes olhares

Abstract

O presente trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a imagem organizacional da Biblioteca Pública, sob a ótica de alguns teóricos e permeados pelo que orienta o Manifesto da UNESCO para Bibliotecas Públicas. Para o entendimento de imagem nos basearemos na teoria da Gestalt e nos respaldaremos na teoria institucional para compreendermos a estrutura organizacional da biblioteca pública como um todo, tendo como parâmetros o discurso idealizado e o institucionalizado em contraponto a avaliação dos produtos e serviços oferecidos. Nosso corpus teórico será composto por autores como Suaiden (1980; 1985; 2000), Milanesi (1985; 1986; 2002; 2003), Miranda (1978), Lemos (1979), Feitosa (1998) e outros.

[en] The present works is a literature on the Public Library’s organizational image, in the view of some theorists permeated for what guides the UNESCO Manifest for Public Libraries. To the understanding of image we rely on the Gestalt theory with institutional support so that we can understand the organizational structure of the public library as a whole, having as parameters the idealized and the institutional discourse as opposed to the evaluation of products and services offered. For the analysis of the investigative corpus, we use content analysis respecting its three phases: pre-analysis: choice of documents and background reading, material analysis: coding, categorization and quantification of the information contained in the corpus and processing of results, inferences and interpretation.
